Dr. A. Patrick Brooks, MD, practices internal medicine in Athens, Georgia. He studied at the Medical College of Georgia, graduating in 1980. From 1980-1983, he completed his residency at HCA Healthcare/Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
In 1983, Dr. Brooks started the Athens Internal Medical Associates and practiced here before retiring. Now, Dr. Brooks works as a consultant and contracting physician with several medical practitioners in the Athens area.
Dr. Brooks currently specializes in addiction medicine—offering his expertise to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders (SUD) and dual diagnosis disorders. Serenity Grove is proud to have Dr. Brooks serving as our medical director.
His wealth of over 40 years of experience in internal medicine, knowledge of clients’ medical needs, and understanding of addiction recovery provides our clients with the expert care they deserve.
