Star Bridges, MS, LPC, CMAC, CCS

Our Clinical Director, Starling ‘Star’ Bridges is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the State of Georgia, a Certified Master Addictions Counselor (CMAC) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor through the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association. Star is currently the 2024-26 term President of the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association.

Star began his work in substance abuse treatment years ago after he completed the
one-year sober living program of the Hickey House in Helen, Georgia. After graduating, he was hired on as a facility staff member and then promoted to Program Director. Star served as the program director of the Hickey House for 18 years.

After completing his graduate degree and obtaining his license as a therapist, he
transitioned to Mount Sinai Wellness Center in Dahlonega, Georgia, where he was a
Primary Therapist for two years and then served as the Assistant Clinical Director for
one year, before coming to Serenity Grove.

Star has a passion for helping others gain traction in their own recovery and has worked with over a thousand individuals over his 20 year career. He enjoys spending his free time on his family farm with his elderly father and weekends in Charlotte with his wife, visiting his two grandchildren.
