Steve Chesser, MD, serves as the Medical Director at Serenity Grove. He has worked in behavioral health since 2010 and brings a whole‑person approach to care at Serenity Grove. Inspired by supporting family members affected by addiction, he focuses on prevention, relapse support, and helping patients rediscover joy without substances.
Dr. Chesser recently completed a 10‑hour DEA course on opioid prescribing and is a member of the American College of Physicians. He enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and spending time with his Labrador Retrievers. His guiding belief is simple: Every day is a new day to start anew.
